Can anyone advise on this issue, and how I can get past this? Initially I suspected my VM may have had some kind of issue so I rebuilt one from scratch, only to run into the same error, really stuck and hopeful someone can assist. I have tried ICACLS to give access to all folders but it completes with an error, without stating which folder it is erroring on. It seems the install creates a temporary folder called \\2003VM2\BEW-xxxxxx\VxPushRA\RAWS32 folder, and I am seeing access denied errors to these locations, as below. I am at a point now where the logs are not complaining about missing patches, but rather I am seeing "Access Denied" errors. NET and redistributable patches, and I have tried the Push install as well as moving the agents across and installing manually. My issue is that I just cannot get the Remote Agent to install on the 2003 lab VM. So the focus on my lab is to recreate the production environment, and test the upgrade itself, as well as to see what will happen with my 2003 server.

The issue is that we have an old server being backed up that is on Server 2003 Enterprise.
